PEARLS was the beginning.
Born from compassion, dignity, and the belief that every person has worth, PEARLS planted the seed for what would eventually become the From Spirit To Spirit ecosystem.
What began as a maternal support initiative grew into a broader commitment to helping people navigate life’s challenges through identity, safety, growth, reflection, and community connection.
Today, that commitment continues through a growing family of experiences designed to support youth, families, and communities at different stages of their journey.
At From Spirit To Spirit Ltd. (FSTS), we believe that when individuals are supported, families become stronger. When families become stronger, communities become healthier. And when communities become healthier, young people have greater opportunities to thrive.

Our Story
From One Seed, Many Pathways.
The story of From Spirit To Spirit began with PEARLS.
Created to support women navigating pregnancy, family building, advocacy, and personal growth, PEARLS was built on the belief that people deserve encouragement, support, and opportunities to grow during life’s most significant transitions.
As the organization evolved, a powerful truth became increasingly clear:
Many of the challenges affecting mothers and families were also affecting the young people in their lives.
Questions about identity.
Questions about safety.
Questions about confidence.
Questions about belonging.
Questions about the future.
Recognizing this connection inspired the development of the EVOLVED Framework™, a practical model designed to help young people strengthen identity, increase safety awareness, and build confidence for the future.
From that foundation, the FSTS ecosystem continued to grow.
Today, FSTS serves youth, families, and communities through multiple pathways that share a common purpose: helping people recognize their worth, navigate challenges, and move toward stronger futures.

Whether a young person participates in Freshman Empowerment, Teen Talks, Street Logic™, ReSet, or Evolved: Crossroads, each experience is intentionally designed to strengthen three interconnected areas of development.

Helping young people recognize risks, identify trusted support, increase awareness, and make informed decisions that promote well-being.

April Lawrence is the Founder and Executive Director of From Spirit To Spirit Ltd.
As a registered nurse, community advocate, and nonprofit leader, she created FSTS to provide meaningful opportunities for growth, reflection, support, and empowerment.
Her vision is rooted in a simple belief:
