From Spirit To Spirit Ltd. (“FSTS,” “we,” “our”) is a Georgia nonprofit organization recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. This policy explains how information may be handled when you visit www.connectwithfsts.org or communicate with FSTS through the website.
1. Information we receive
When you choose to contact us by email or telephone, we may receive your name, contact details, organization or school affiliation, your inquiry, and information you voluntarily share. Internship inquiries may include résumés, educational background, interests, availability, and academic-credit requests. Community Host inquiries may include the organization’s contact information and proposed location or activities.
Our hosting provider, WordPress installation, and related website services may automatically process technical information such as IP addresses, browser and device information, access logs, and security events to deliver and protect the website.
2. How we use information
We use information as appropriate to respond to inquiries, discuss programs and available opportunities, review internship interest, communicate with prospective Community Hosts, maintain the website, protect its security, and meet applicable legal or recordkeeping responsibilities. An inquiry does not guarantee program acceptance or internship placement.
3. Youth and children’s privacy
Our public website is intended primarily for adults, including parents, guardians, educators, and community contacts. Children under age 13 should not send personal information through the website or general inquiry email. A parent or guardian should contact FSTS instead. Youth participation and any necessary parent or guardian permissions are addressed through separate FSTS program procedures.
If you believe a child has supplied personal information through a general website inquiry without appropriate permission, contact us using the details below so we can review the situation.
4. PEARLS and sensitive information
PEARLS™ provides pregnancy support, navigation, and sisterhood through educational and supportive programming. Do not send pregnancy histories, medical records, diagnoses, or other sensitive health information through ordinary website inquiries or email. Program-specific intake and confidentiality processes, when applicable, are explained separately from this website.
This website is not a portal for medical care, counseling, crisis intervention, or emergency communication.
5. Sharing and service providers
FSTS may provide limited information to service providers that support authorized website hosting, email, security, and organizational operations, as needed for those services. We may also disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to address a safety or security concern. We do not sell personal information provided through general website inquiries.
Providing space for an FSTS activity as a Community Host does not, by itself, authorize access to FSTS participant records or confidential information.
6. Cookies, fonts, and third-party technologies
WordPress, the website host, and installed services may use cookies or similar technology for website functionality, administration, performance, or security. The current FSTS theme also loads Google Fonts from Google’s servers; loading a font may involve communication between your browser and Google, including technical request information such as an IP address.
If additional analytics, embedded services, or other tracking technologies are enabled, FSTS will review whether this policy and any visitor notices or controls need updating.
7. External websites and donations
Links on our website may lead to services that operate under their own privacy policies. If an online donation option is provided through PayPal or another external payment provider, the transaction is completed with that provider. FSTS does not intend to collect payment-card details directly through this WordPress website.
8. Information protection and retention
FSTS seeks to use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for its purpose and for any applicable safeguarding, operational, or legal obligations. No internet transmission or electronic storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
9. Privacy questions or requests
Contact FSTS to ask questions or request review, correction, or deletion of information you have provided, subject to applicable law and recordkeeping requirements.
